Well I finally finished Mum's 2007 Christmas present:
Sorry about the sideways picture! It's a tea cosy from the book Killer tea cosies. The pattern is Gladys. It's made by knitting a ribbed fabric in black and appliqueing on the crocheted pansy flowers and leaves. Mum (who isn't named Gladys, but adores pansies) loves it.

Yes, your mummy is beautiful! At first, before I scrolled down, I thought it was a hat! Might be rather fetching... Funny thing, my mum is also a big fan of pansies - must be a mummy thing.xxx
