Growing, growing, grown!

I finished Spencer's blanket today, WOO-HOO!!! After row upon row of double crochet (single crochet to my American friends), I worked one round of dc and one round of reverse dc (crab stitch) to give it a nice neat edging. There are a few ends to finish off but the hard work is done, and I can send it off to my beloved in time for the cooler Autumn weather. I hope it keeps t' lad cosy.

(Wow, it didn't take me as long as I thought to make the blankie: the first picture is from July 07. That's only 8 months ago; how those fingers fly!)

The blanket is beautiful. I am still knitting my first scarf, and it's been three months. My fingers don't fly, unfortunately.

I'm on the lookout for orange wool after your lovely comment on my blog. Thanks!
