The prodigal blogger returns, and would really prefer the fatted lamb, but will settle for the beef.
What can I say? I just haven't been "in the mood", again. (Still?) However, I've come to realise that the longer I stay in that mood, the harder it's going to be to break out of it. So if I "act as if" I'm all revved up and excited about life and a new year, it may just come to pass that I actually GET revved up and excited.
Do you know what the little voice inside my head is saying? You know - that little voice who always puts me down, who really seems to hate my/our guts, THE INNER CRITIC - it's saying YEAH RIGHT, DREAM ON LOSER, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
(What sizes do straight jackets come in? Can I have a pink one?)
We all have that inner critic, but it chatters louder in some people than in others. Mine prattles on A LOT. And LOUDLY. And never seems to have anything constructive to say. I have to learn to block it out, wish me luck friends!

okay, you can have a pink straighjacket - but only if you let me stick sparkly bits on! I know exactly how you feel by the way - I am truly the most miserablest misery this side of the planet. So, that's us got the whole planet covered...who's next?

Yep, the miseries are here as well, and the bright face is pasted on. I think it's the only way to be, otherwise nobody talks to you, and that makes it all the worse.
So, good for you for getting back to us, and we're talking to you, right?!

Can this crazy join the club as well? My inner voice goes 24-7 and I keep telling it shut up but it doesn't listen, kinda like my kids really! Any way I try to prove that voice wrong when it says "You cna't do that, so why try!!". Only thing it's beating me at is loosing weight.I say I can it says I can't, and dam it it's winning!!!
I'll have a black studded straight jacket please!
