10 shawls in 2010 - oh shawly not!

One of the Ravelry groups I belong to is '10 Shawls in 2010'. Our goal is to make - yes, you guessed it - 10 shawls (or wraps / stoles / ponchos) this year. Each. Our group has 2,826 members, and if we all reach our goals that's nearly 30,000 shawls!!!!!! 30,000!!! Sheesh - even I'm flabbergasted! Of course not everyone will make it to 10, but there will be a few who go well past that number. Don't believe me? We already have a Master's thread set up in our forum!

Russette (South Bay Shawlette pattern available free at Lion Brand Yarn)
I've finished two 'official' shawls, have another two I haven't entered yet, and I'm currently working on at least three more. I have a folder FULL of patterns, and more patterns queued up at Rav. I think I may have enough shawl patterns to last me a life time!

Think I can get to 10? I most shawly will!

go, gO, GO, GO!
I am building up a real big cheer for when you finish. You can totally do this, and from the looks of it you are off to a beautiful start. Blue Hawaii is breathtaking.
I wish I could sit beside you and learn how.
