I've been a rather lethargic lately; it's the cold weather, it always makes me feel slow. I find it so much harder to knit or crochet, or to even hold a book, my fingers especially don't work as well as I want them too. It's a problem that has worsened since I developed diabetes 4 years ago, and having only the one hand means my winter-time work output really slows down. Of course, being a fundamentally lazy person doesn't help!
However, I've just got off the phone with my sister Pauline, and I'm feeling quite refreshed. She has just started her own blog http://www.lifeaccordingtopauline.blogspot.com/ and she's worried about not being exciting or arty or crafty enough for the world. Pish-posh I say, why does it matter if anyone reads your blog or not? I'm finding with mine that I enjoy reading my own posts, I make myself laugh. If anyone else reads it and gets a laugh or a smile out of it that's great. If they don't, tough. I enjoy a lot of other people's blogs, some I read or check in on daily, others I find when I surf the links and I might only read that once. A few I read a little and move on - it might be the content or the style that doesn't agree with me - and others I go back and read all their archives and thirst for more. We're all so different, and yet, so the same. There's summat for everyone out there.
