I was sitting on my front step today, enjoying the moment, when I thought about taking some pictures. I went off to get the camera, changed the batteries and took the above shots. I sat there thinking about what a dumb camera it was, because I couldn't focus on the blackbird on the fence. A little while later I was fiddling with the camera and I wondered to myself "what does this button do?" Well, LO and BEHOLD, it's the beeping zoom! So I had a play and took a few more shots. Oh joy, I couldn't wait to tell the world! So instead of being outside in the fresh air and sunshine (yes, sunshine!) I'm in my brother's room, sitting at the computer, getting a numb bum (we really must get a better chair) and crowing over this minor accomplishment.

Using a camera with one hand is not easy, especially when THE one is the LEFT one! Go on, try it. Is there such a thing as a left-handed camera?

Who would have thought they'd have made that button so hard to find! It had never occurred to me that there was indeed no such thing as a left handed camera - well, none I've ever heard of. You managed pretty well in spite of it though - those are nice photos!
I have made butternut squash soup today - I've never made it before - yummy! I bet you are thinking 'never made b/squash soup before, has that girl led a sheltered life or something?' - well, it's probably the 'or something'. I seem to be doing a lot of 'getting around to things other people have been doing for years' at the moment!! (or I could just be mad). xxxxxxxx
I had never thought of how hard it must be using a camera with only one hand!! I'm with Susan you manage very well sis. Plants are looking good and Mr Scotty had to make an apperance didn't he, how cute is he?!
