I'm o.k., you're o.k.

Why do I do this to myself?
Why do I take on awkward, fiddly projects that leave me cussing and screaming?
Is it some deep-seated psychological need to prove I can be just as good, if not better, than some "able-bodied" crafter?
Or is it just because...
I can?
Completely unrelated, my very own, very first, brand new piece of, hushed and reverent tones, Kaffe Fassett fabric:
Isn't it glorious! Actually I don't like a lot of his fabric but as soon as I saw this, I said I'm having that! And have it I have. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. GRIN!

All of those sticks poking in and out of the yarn are enough to scare me off, but I'd love to play with that beautiful fabric!
