Catch up, part 2.

I can't believe it, another month went by while I was blinking! Granted it is a short one, but even so, whoosh! Now to carry on with the up-catching ...

November.
I'm sorry Kaz and Sue, but November was a fizzer. It was the Month I Was Miserable. I believe it was the coming down from the month before and I just went flat. I didn't communicate very much and spent a lot of time playing card games and being logged in to Ravelry. I did meet brother G's new partner, Angie. I was anxious about meeting her, always get that way with the prospect of the NEW, but I needn't have gotten myself worked up as she is a lovely lady. Very plain and ordinary and, well, nice! They seem happy together and I guess that's all anyone can ask for. Also met A's dog, Anika (not sure if that's the right spelling, but it will do) - she's a foxy/corgi cross and she's lovely! Soft, soft fur; pretty features and markings, and a nice disposition. Will have to get a piccy of her sometime.

Onwards to:

December.
Nearly to the end of the year! This was the month another little brother turned 40, Dad turned 79, and we celebrated Christmas. Yes, indeed, half my siblings are now past it. The 40 year marker, that is, LOL! G and A invited us all down to P'ram for a quiet barbie to mark this event. Food was plentiful, the meat not too burnt(!), and we got a lovely tour of A's garden. Mum finagled lots of cuttings, and I had fun with the dog. On the way down, we stopped at Lindale, to stretch our legs and visit the Kapiti Cheese and Ice-cream shop. We drooled, we boggled (good cheese = $$$$$!), and we bought a few bits and pieces. I had a wonderful two scoop cone: Passion fruit Sorbet and Feijoa Ice-cream. Mmmmmmmmmm!

Dad's birthday was low-key. So low-key, I can't remember if we went over or not! Oh Dear.

Christmas. Mum and Dad's place. Them, G and A, K and Me. Roast chicken. Roast lamb. New spuds. Mint sauce. Gravy. You get the picture. Yummy food, nice company. Pressies. Home.

That was it for December, nothing else is leaping to my attention. Spen turned 12 over in Aussie. Raro turned 13. Tempis fugit.
