Well, here she is: my baby. Haven't given her a name yet, actually all I could think of was Spirelli, which I kind of like but I'll sleep on it some more I think.
This week I've been working on a crocheted scarf in the same pink wool. I've been working on it mostly at night when I can't sleep (chronic insomniac :- [ ) and it's been growing quite nicely. Should have it finished in a few more days (or nights, as the case may be).
I think crochet is my oldest crafting passion. When I was 9 or 10, I watched other girls crocheting at school and I was fascinated and wanted to do it too. No-one told me a one-handed girl can't crochet, so I set about learning. I taught myself, and was - oh I know it's a really bad pun, but here goes - hooked. (I just had the thought that if I'd had a hook prosthesis at the time, I would have been hooked through and through!). Anyhoo, I've been crocheting on and off ever since. I don't plan to stop, either.
Oh, by the way, I figured out the photo thing.
