Second project finished, and the SUN is shining ...

... for the 3rd day in a row! Admittedly, the southerly wind is cooling things down, but it's very nice in a sheltered spot. I think the washing might even get dry today. The clothes dryer could do with a rest.

I finished my second Ravelympics project, another hat:

this one is Marnie Mclean's Halley's Comet Hat, knitted in 10ply/Aran wool on 5.5mm DPNs (double pointed needles). The colour is a natural creamy white. I like it.

I started this little string bag to fill in time the other week and finished it off the other day. I thought it would be bigger than this - I was thinking grocery size - but it is quite small. However, it is cute, and handily holds several balls of yarn.

Here's a gratuitous picky of my gorgeous Scotty. I totally failed to capture the demented mood he was in: racing around like a mad thing, chasing shadows, acting like a kitten! He can be a right na na at times!

Another beautiful bonnet. I left you a message at Ravelry, glad you joined, you've done a lot more with it than me. Well done on the Ravelympics (sp) are you meeting your targets?
